Care from Someone Who Calls the Quad Cities Home
Choosing Wainwright Orthodontics means choosing a doctor with deep local roots. Dr. Brandon Wainwright grew up right here in the Quad Cities, and his passion for orthodontics took shape during the years he spent in the Riverdale School system in Port Byron.
He went on to serve six years in the National Guard and earn his orthodontic degree, then returned home to care for the very community that raised him. You’ll feel that connection in how we work: straightforward advice, no ego, and a real promise to treat you like one of our own.
Treatments Built Around Your Life
At our Le Claire office, we rely on modern digital tools, including precise digital impressions, to keep your treatment quicker, tidier, and more comfortable. Here’s the full range of care we provide:

- Clear Braces: Enjoy the proven strength of braces in a low-key, tooth-colored design that blends right in.
- Clear Aligners: Shape your ideal smile with comfortable, removable trays that are barely noticeable.
- Early Interceptive Treatment: We start watching growth around age 7, so your child’s care begins exactly when it will do the most good.
- Airway Orthodontics: We look at how your smile connects to healthy breathing and restful sleep, caring for your whole-body function.
- Teeth Whitening: Add the perfect final sparkle to your finished smile once treatment wraps up.

Frequently Asked Questions
I'm in Davenport — is getting to Le Claire actually convenient?
Definitely. Our Le Claire office is a short drive from Davenport using I-80 West or Highway 67 along the river. You’ll bypass the busy downtown streets and park with ease right outside the door. Plenty of families in Davenport and the Quad Cities tell us the trip feels easier than crossing town — and the honest, relaxed care makes it more than worthwhile.
Can appointments fit around my child's school day?
Of course. We understand Davenport families have full calendars, whether your student attends Davenport Central, West, or North High School. With flexible scheduling, it’s simple to grab a slot soon after the final bell, so care slots neatly into your routine instead of upending it. The short drive also means less time pulled away from class, work, and practices.
Do you take insurance, and is there a cost to consult?
Your first visit is completely free — and completely pressure-free. Our friendly team will help you make sense of your insurance benefits and get the most from your coverage, then explain clear, honest pricing with payment options built for everyday budgets. No hidden fees, no surprises, and never any push to start treatment you don’t truly need.
How much do braces and clear aligners cost in the Quad Cities?
The cost of braces or clear aligners in the Quad Cities generally ranges from $3,000 to $7,000, depending on the complexity of your alignment needs and the length of your treatment. At Wainwright Orthodontics, we believe in complete financial transparency. We provide all-inclusive pricing during your complimentary consultation, so you will never run into hidden fees for scans, emergency visits, or retainers.
Should I choose traditional braces or clear aligners?
Both options are highly effective for most patients in the Quad Cities. Traditional self-ligating braces are ideal for correcting complex alignment issues and don’t require the patient to remember to keep their trays in. Clear aligners offer a nearly invisible look and allow you to eat your favorite foods without heavy restriction. During your free consultation at our Le Claire office, we will help you weigh the pros and cons of braces vs. aligners to choose the perfect fit for your lifestyle.
